
With so much drama and fear about the illness this year and with winter and flu season on it's I feel that my responsibility to share with you what I can on how to create a body that is impervious to infection. Ultimately part of this protocol is a live-food diet and I will go into why this, but I am going to give you some powerful and ancient nutrient supplements that can be used on top of any diet to help rid the body of infection and boost the immune system synergistically. Garlic: Garlic is one of the most potent antibiotics ever. If you are sick garlic is one the best ways to get rid of it fast. However, as many of you surely know, garlic can be too intense to eat raw in large - or even small - quantities. It can leave you smelling for days, and the Yogis don't recommend garlic because it is rajastic and will begin to disrupt the coordination and communication between the hemispheres of the brain when eaten regularly. This is why most ashrams don't serve garlic as it is not conducive for a calm, meditative mind. So I recommend eating raw garlic sparingly and really using it medicinally rather than regularly. There is however a tonic form of garlic: Aged Garlic Extracts. These don't have the side effects (smelliness and rajas) that are associated with raw garlic and still have all the benefits. These can be taken in high doses and everyday.

Vitamin C: All of have taken vitamin C before, we know what it is all about. It helps with the common cold, any infection, and even cancer. I will just add to what we already know. You may not know that you can take a lot of vitamin C without negative effects, and you may not know that has with most nutrients it is much better to find vitamin C in a natural plant form.
